Roma, non far la stupida starera

Posted in Life, TV&Movies, Travels by Pino on September 27th, 2007

Eventually I’m in a hotel in Rome. Eventually? Let’s start from the beginning. I met my boss this morning at Schiphol airport, we had breakfast together and we took the Alitalia flight to Rome. We landed at noon but we had to wait almost half an hour for my luggage because I didn’t want to carry it with me on the aircraft  This is how my boss started to hate me… At half past 2 we met our partners and we had a nice but also animated meeting. Later in the afternoon we went by taxi to the city centre where we booked two rooms for the night. Well, after less than one hour we were again on a taxi on our way outside Rome to another hotel which could have suited better our requirements ;) We needed almost 2 hours to get out of the city and we eventually reached the Marriot hotel where we just had a decent dinner. My bed is huge and I think I’m going to have a bath too… No doubts, my boss has class.
On the big plasma screen in my room I’m currently zapping among a lot of different TV channels: cool, there is even a Chinese one! Too funny. Now I’m watching the Gialappa’s Band (Italians know what I’m talking about) and I just saw the commercial about the forthcoming Heroes episode… The Italian voices they chose for dubbing are everything but good. My god, I don’t know which is worse: Hiro, Peter or Sylar? All of them.
Btw, yesterday I watched the first episode of the new season: the second part of which was without commercial interruptions thanks to Nissan  Can’t wait for the next one…

Happy birthday
