I don’t know why, but in the last time I feel like spending a lot of money

it really doesn’t work like that: I said I want spend money, not for charity.
Anyway… I would like to buy a new camera: in June I will be in St Petersburg and I deserve a new one. At the end of this month Nikon will sell the new Coolpix P5000 and I could maybe decide to buy it. What do you think? Luca, don’t say I should buy a DSLR… They’re too expensive, too big, too fragile and… they don’t deserve to be used as point&shoot.
That’s clear. That you don’t want to buy a DSLR and I totally agree, since for your use it’d be overkilling.
As for the Coolpix P5000. I started digital with a Coolpix 5400 and afaik the P5000 is its heir. Now for what I read, it should be a good camera, neither too bulky nor too small. It’s what is called a digicam.

I may get the S50 for me, ‘coz I want something extremely small to carry all around and to be able to bring up when I climb.
